Tottenham striker Harry Kane has been named as the most valuable player in the world beating the likes of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to top spot.
The England international is worth £176m and this was according to the CIES Football Observatory algorithm released ahead of the World Cup. Paris Saint-Germain’s forwards Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are second and third respectively on the list as the duo were worth £171m and £163m.
Spurs Dele Alli was worth 149.8m coming behind Barcelona’s Messi £161m and Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah £150m. Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne was named seventh most valuable with a worth of £146m while Atletico Madrid’s attacker Antoine Griezmann is in eighth spot £144.1m.
Juventus ace Paulo Dybala is worth £143.9m and Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku was rated at £143.2m as both stars occupied the ninth and 10th positions . Surprisingly, Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked way back in 24th place and worth only £91m. AC Milan’s 19-year-old goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was the youngest name to feature at 73rd with a worth of £59m
